I Like Mike!!!

I don't like Mike, but I do. Confused? Going through life with the name Michael has some drawbacks, first, it seems every other guy has that name, so when I'm out and about, I hear someone shout, "Michael!" and start looking around. Usually they are not looking for me, but I still have to look. The other thing, is everyone wants to call you Mike. I hate that name. I don't know why, but I feel strongly that my name is Michael, not Mike.

Anyway, I do like Mike. Mike Huckabee that is. I have followed the long and winding trail that is the campaign for the 2008 Presidential Elections. Being conservative, I have watched Republican candidates closely. I have not been impressed for the most part. I feel that I have strongly settled on one candidate and that is Mike Huckabee. Is he perfect, nope. Is the prettiest, nope. Is he the smartest, maybe not. Is he a man of conviction that will fight for families, faith and traditional values, ABSOLUTELY. I believe that he is a man of conviction that can communicate that in a way that most voters appreciate. He is a leader who can stand firm without making you feel run over.
