Well, our 2007 summer day camp is done! Whew! It was a lot of work, but worth more than the effort that goes into it. We had 32 campers, 5 counselors, 13 teenage support staff and other volunteers. Our theme was "Be Strong" based on Ephesians 6:10. We focused on the Full Armor of God with the campers as we looked at new pieces each day. At night, the support staff and counselors studied the book of Ephesians, with the counselors going in-depth and learning to use tools like exhaustive concordances and word study dictionaries. We had good weather for the most part, except for family night when it poured. It did get hot one day when it got up to 92 in the shade with high humidity, but that's why the waterslide helps cool us all off! :)
